Arrival Instructions for Students Living on Campus

Arriving AFTER 22nd September

We’ve put together these arrival instructions to aid your journey on to campus.

Keys for students arriving after 22nd September and living on campus will be available for collection from the Student Information Centre on the ground floor of Senate HouseLink opens in a new window, right in the centre of campus. Please ensure you follow the instructions on this page and the signage on site to arrive at the Student Information Centre and not to your residence. To gain access to your room you will need to collect your key first.

Unable to arrive by 6th October?

If you are unable to arrive before midnight on 6th October, it is essential that you inform Warwick Accommodation ( ) by email stating the date you intend to arrive.

Arriving by car

If arriving by car, you can use the postcode CV4 7AL which will guide you to main University campus. Please then follow the instructions below to direct you to Senate House in the centre of campus where you can collect the keys to your accommodation.

On Arrival

Senate HouseLink opens in a new window is the white building directly opposite, across the main road. On arrival, report to a member of staff at the Student Information Centre to collect your room key and Warwick ID card. You may be asked for your Warwick ID number and photographic ID to confirm your details. We will then provide you with instructions explaining how to access your accommodation.


Arriving by bus

Buses will stop at the Bus Interchange on Central Campus. The bus stop is just a short walk from Senate House where you will collect your keys from the Student Information Centre. On arrival, a member of staff will be available to provide you with your room key and Warwick ID card. You may be asked for your Warwick ID number and photographic ID to confirm your details. You will then be provided with instructions explaining how to access your accommodation on foot.


Arriving by taxi

You should direct your taxi driver to follow the directions provided above for cars. There is a taxi drop off available on Health Centre Road (opposite Senate House). On arrival, report to a member of staff at Student Information Centre to collect your room key and Warwick ID card. You may be asked for your Warwick ID number and photographic ID to confirm your details. You will then be provided with instructions explaining how to access your accommodation on foot.


Arriving out of hours

Please check the website to find out the Student Information Centre opening times.

If you are unable to arrive during opening hours, please ensure you email at least 48 hours before your arrival to inform them of the date and time you expect to arrive. They will then send your keys to the Community Safety HubLink opens in a new window, which is open 24 hours, for your collection.
