Born in Paris in1984.
At the age of nineteen Goudal moved to London and in 2004 enrolled at St Martin’s College of Art to study Graphic Design, gaining a First Class BA degree in 2008; she went on to the post graduate Photography course at the Royal College of Art where she was awarded an MA with Distinction in 2010.
Very soon after this she began to exhibit her remarkable photographic works establishing herself as an artist with a distinctive style and vision. Her photographs are based on large-scale installations she has created, incorporating real objects in actual settings but which combine both reality and fantasy. They are enigmatic images which stimulate the imagination speaking, she says, to the “fantasies, desires and fragility of the viewer”.
Her work has been shown in solo exhibitions in London, Paris, Toulon, Milan, Dublin, Amsterdam and New York as well as in many group exhibitions throughout Europe as well as further afield including Azerbaijan, Costa Rica, New Delhi and Bogota.
