Warwick Conferences manager appointed to coveted European board
Kayleigh Linklater, Sales Manager at Warwick Conferences, has been appointed as the newest European Board Associate for the International Association of Conference Centres (IACC). The IACC is a highly regarded organisation that delivers innovative and exceptional meeting experiences and is the only global professional association which represents small to medium sized venues that host meetings, training courses and conferences. The appointment comes after a rigorous application process which included an interview process and meeting with IACC CEO, Mark Cooper. Kayleigh now joins the European leadership team for a two-year period during which she will help identify emerging trends and bring a millennial perspective to the Board, and support annual conference planning groups, including the‘2024 IACC Conference’ and the ‘Better Tomorrow Initiative’. During her tenure Kayleigh will also work alongside the outgoing Board Associate for the first year, and incoming Board Associate for the second year, before presenting a final report of her observations and experiences following this period. |

Kayleigh’s career in events began shortly after university, working in sales for a Scottish catering company. It was after she developed this initial experience that she moved on to work at a rugby stadium in Manchester, before later joining ‘etc. venues’ Manchester in 2017. After relocating to Leamington Spa in 2020, Kayleigh joined the award-winning team at Warwick Conferences, as Sales Manager, a position which has seen her play an important role in designing and delivering a wide range of successful events for clients. From training sessions to large award dinners, Kayleigh offers interesting, exciting, and out of the box ideas to help clients gain the best results from their events. This expertise and understanding of conferences and events will transfer meaningfully to her role at the IACC.
