Welcome Week 2023 showcased Warwick’s ongoing success, with an impressive 91% of students feeling genuinely welcomed. Over five years, Welcome Week has evolved into a seamless affair, with the sober social program, introduced in 2022, earning an outstanding 81% satisfaction rate.

The Welcome Week app, a key component of Welcome Week is developed and maintained by IDG Software Engineering. It has emerged as a standout success, engaging nearly 13,000 students, with 92% finding it beneficial. The team responsible ensure the app is continually developed and improved. This year also saw a notable 5% increase in satisfaction with pre-arrival communications, particularly among international students. These achievements reflect our commitment to continuous improvement and student-centred initiatives, ensuring a vibrant and supportive academic community for all.
