To modernise and move student records to the cloud, we have updated some of our Module Registration Module (MRM) system functionality with the new Departmental Module Management (DMM) system. Academic departments rely on this system to handle student module registrations, especially at the start of the academic year and before Term 2.

Transitioning smoothly within a tight timeframe was key to not disrupting this vital function, so IDG designed a 4 week training programme that consisted of a mix of online, face-to-face sessions, instructional videos, and access to a test system. This diverse training approach significantly boosted users' confidence in using the new system, making the transition smoother.

Feedback from staff training was positive: "Thank you very much, very comprehensive training, much appreciated."

Post the registration window closure, we plan to gather more detailed feedback from staff through a formal survey. This feedback will guide further enhancements in supporting Academic departments.
