Yes, Warwick Files does support special characters in file and folder names. However, it's important to note that certain characters can cause issues, especially when syncing with clients on different operating systems like Windows or macOS.

To ensure compatibility across platforms and avoid synchronization problems, it's recommended to avoid the following characters in file and folder names:

  • /(forward slash)

  • \(backslash)

  • :(colon)

  • *(asterisk)

  • ?(question mark)

  • "(double quote)

  • <(less than)

  • >(greater than)

  • |(vertical bar)

  • #(hash)

  • %(percent)

For maximum compatibility, it's advisable to use the following characters in file and folder names:
