Release notes for web applications
Tabula 2020.10.3 released
We released Tabula 2020.10.3 on Thursday 22nd October 2020. In this version:
- Mitigating circumstances panels now appear on the timetables of the panel chair, secretary and members, with a link to the details of the panel.
SiteBuilder 2.452 released
We released SiteBuilder 2.452 on Monday 19th October 2020. In this version:
- We fixed a bug which hid calendar events on the last day of certain views. For example, events on Sundays were not appearing on the 'Week' view.
- We improved accessibility by making it easier to use the Warwick website with a screen reader.
Tabula 2020.10.2 released
We released Tabula 2020.10.2 on Thursday 15th October 2020. In this version:
- We ensured that Tabula does not treat the additional annual leave dates recently granted by the University, Wednesday 23 December 2020 and Monday 4 January 2021, as working days. This means they cannot be set as the open or closing date for assignments and are excluded from feedback deadline calculations.
- Via an open source contribution, Michael Gale (Computer Science) improved the Tabula API method for retrieving assignments.
SiteBuilder 2.451 released
We released SiteBuilder 2.451 on Tuesday 13th October 2020. In this version:
- We overhauled the site map page template to make it more accessible. It is now fully navigable when using only a keyboard or screen reader software. The links from a site map now take you straight to the corresponding page or file, rather than opening a preview window.
- We fixed a bug that caused the Warwick website cookie preferences of users who were not signed in to be lost when they closed their browser. Now, the preference of anyone who is not signed in is remembered by their browser for a year. To change your preference, for a given device and browser, you can use the 'Cookie preferences' link in the utility menu at the top of any page.
Tabula 2020.10.1 released
We released Tabula 2020.10.1 on Thursday 8th October 2020. In this version:
- We completed some preparatory work to enable the processing of marks by cohort. This will provide an alternative to processing marks by module.
- Via open source contributions:
- Oscar Harris (Computer Science):
- Made the module registration status on the Modules page of students' profiles visible to the relevant student.
- Fixed a bug affecting formative assessments with feedback provided outside of Tabula. These were appearing twice in the 'Feedback available' section of the Coursework page on students' profiles.
- Michael Gale (Computer Science) added start and end times to meeting records awaiting approval. Previously, just the date of the meeting was shown.
- Oscar Harris (Computer Science):
- Batched notifications are now enabled for all users who have not specified a preference. This means certain notifications of the same type are grouped together and sent at 10-minute intervals.
- When you add students to a small groups set via SITS query, any students registered on the module now automatically appear in the 'Find students' section on the 'Students' tab. The module the group set belongs to is pre-selected in the filters, but you can change this to generate a different list of students.
