Tabula release notes

We released Tabula 2019.9.1 on Thursday 5 September 2019, which incorporates open source contributions. This release includes:

• New features:
  • You can now set an assignment as a 'Resit assignment' on its 'Assignment details' page. When you link such an assignment to an assessment component, only the students expected to resit are added to the assignment. You can then upload the marks from the assignment to SITS, which stores them as resit marks.
  • When you create a new assignment, Tabula automatically copies some details from the assignment created most recently in the same department. You can now choose, on your user settings page, to disable this so that when you create a new assignment no details are copied.
• Some improvements, including:
  • Students can now specify the minutes, in addition to the hour, when requesting or reviewing an extension to an assignment deadline. Admins can do the same when editing extensions at either the department or assignment level.
• Bug fixes, including:
  • A bug causing performance issues when uploading very large files.

We released Tabula 2019.8.5 on Friday 30 August 2019. This release includes:

• Preparatory work to enable the upload of resit marks to SITS
• Bug fixes
• Security enhancements

We released Tabula 2019.8.4 on Thursday 22 August 2019. This release includes:

• Further work to improve accessibility
• Security enhancements
• Bug fixes
• Further work on the upcoming Mitigating Circumstances functionality

We released Tabula 2019.8.3 on Thursday 15 August 2019. This release includes:

• New functionality for the Tabula API: it's now possible to search for members of a department using filters. This was already possible in the Tabula user interface.
• Improvements, including some to make it easier to use Tabula with only a keyboard:
  • Using the <Tab> key to move from the last item in a dropdown, e.g. for exam grid filters, now closes the dropdown
  • You can now use the <Esc> key to close dropdowns

• Further work on the upcoming Mitigating Circumstances functionality

We released Tabula 2019.8.2 on Thursday 8 August 2019. This release includes:

• A new feature: you can now produce a report of missed assessments from the Reports page. This includes submissions that are late or missing for assignments with a close date within the date range you specify.
