Tabula release notes
Tabula 2018.3.3
We released Tabula 2018.3.3 on Thursday, 15 March 2018. Improvements in this version include:
- the marker's screen – submissions are grouped under ‘Submissions to mark’, ‘Upcoming marking’ and ‘Marked’
- the moderator's screen – submissions are grouped under ‘Submissions to moderate and send to admin’, ‘Upcoming moderation’ and ‘Moderated’
- exam seat numbers in the coursework management component – you can import seat numbers from SITS and see them throughout a marking workflow
- exam grids – when specifying your grid options, you can choose to calculate year marks from the current component and assignment marks from SITS, or use year marks previously uploaded to SITS via Tabula
We've also fixed a bug that was causing duplicate events to display in timetables.
Tabula 2018.3.2
We released Tabula 2018.3.2 on Thursday, 8 March 2018. We revisited approving extension requests, which we said we'd fixed last week in version 2018.3.1. It turns out that the problem still occurred on iOS devices, and we've fixed this now. Other bug fixes include:
- Downloading a .zip of multiple files attached to a single meeting record no longer causes an error message
- In an exam grid .xlsx download, the University ID column is not empty
Also, it's now possible to generate an anonymous exam grid by excluding students' names and showing only their University ID.
Tabula 2018.3.1
We released Tabula version 2018.3.1 on Friday, 2 March 2018. In this version:
- we fixed a bug that caused approved extension requests to incorrectly appear as rejected
- you can now view a breakdown of a student's component assessment marks in exam grids
Tabula 2018.2.4
We released Tabula 2018.2.4 on Thursday, 22 February 2018. This version includes an alternative exam grid layout. A new short grid shows only those modules taken by each student. The original full grid continues to show all modules taken by the selected cohort.
In attendance monitoring, we've:
- improved the page to record attendance against a monitoring point to handle situations where a person does not have permission to record attendance for every student
- clarified the labels on points recorded automatically to show the reason – for example, an approved meeting record or coursework submission
We've also fixed bugs where:
- it wasn't possible to save an assignment with a non-moderated reusable marking workflow after you added a new marker
- email notifications weren't sent to students when marks were adjusted in bulk via the spreadsheet upload method
Tabula 2018.2.3
We released Tabula version 2018.2.3 on Friday, 16 February 2018. This release contains mainly bug fixes.
- It's now possible to allocate all students who share the same name to markers, when those students are enrolled on the same assignment.
- The link in a student's activity stream to view feedback now points to the correct page.
