SiteBuilder release notes

We released SiteBuilder version 2.554 on Monday 4^th September 2023. Changes in this version include:

• Search box components no longer disappear when users place their cursor in the search box and press enter while editing the page in the Components Editor.
• Image components set to float left or right now display correctly in the editor when placed inside unstyled blocks.
• Text characters that appear immediately after icons can be correctly deleted with backspace.
• News and event tags containing special characters (for example, '&') now filter items correctly when selected.

We released SiteBuilder version 2.553 on Tuesday 29^th August 2023. Changes in this update include:

• You can now use an Item filter page as the source of a content feed component. Feed content will not appear in the editor, but will display correctly when published.
• You can add a new 'Share this' button to items on news and calendar pages & feeds , allowing visitors to share events and news via Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn or by email. Enable this option by selecting Show social media sharing buttons in the page properties or component settings.
  • Note: The 'Share this' button will only appear on feeds that are set to display as Tiles or Tiles - scrollable.

We released SiteBuilder 2.552 on Wednesday 16th August 2023. Updates in this version include:

• We fixed a bug which prevented horizontal scroller controls from displaying on some mobile devices, including iPhones.

We released SiteBuilder 2.551 on Tuesday 8^th August 2023. Updates in this version include:

• Quiz and Forms pages: The Cancel and Publish buttons on the page properties screen now match the button styles on other page types.
• Users with Contributor permissions can upload images in the Components Editor as intended.
• Icons: Brand icons now display correctly in the picker when adding icons in the Components Editor.
• Image captions on Gallery and Slideshow pages now match users' browser font size settings.
• The Components Editor Accessibility pane no longer displays the "Page must have means to bypass repeated blocks" error message, as it is not relevant to user-editable page content.

We released SiteBuilder version 2.550 on Tuesday 25^th July 2023. Changes in this update include:

• News and event tags:
  • Visitors can now select a tag's name. rather than just its checkbox, to enable or disable filtering by that tag.
  • Firefox users are now correctly able to add, remove and edit tags on news pages.
• Site reports now have a column to display a page's template, if applicable. Reports for Components Editor pages additionally list the components used.
• Preformatted text (<pre>) is now accessible to visitors using keyboard controls, even when the content requires horizontal scrolling.
