Tabula release notes
Tabula 2020.8.1 released
We released Tabula 2020.8.1 on Wednesday 5th August 2020. In this version:
- We improved the way Tabula handles resits and further first sits:
- When the assessment type or weighting has changed, the correct details are now shown on the Modules page of the student's profile.
- Where a further first sit has a weighting of 100%, the 'Calculate module marks' page now uses the mark for this as the module mark. On the page, the further first sit mark is labelled '100%' and the columns for the original assessments display 'N/A'.
- When the mark for a resit is lower than the original mark for a component, the original mark is now used to calculate the module mark.
- When you record a meeting with more than one tutee / supervisee, the pop-up box for this now states the number of students. This number was already stated in the pop-up for scheduling such a meeting.
- We fixed a bug that caused marking workflows from previous academic years to be available when editing an assignment. The drop-down list of workflows you see now only includes those from the current academic year.
Tabula 2020.7.17 released
We released Tabula 2020.7.17 on Thursday 30th July 2020. In this version:
- We fixed a bug affecting module marks when component marks were uploaded to SITS via Coursework Management. When an uploaded component mark matches the one in Marks Management, the module mark is no longer recorded as changed.
- For tables of tutees/supervisees, the 'select all' checkbox and sorting by column now work again.
- Michael Gale (Computer Science) made improvements to the Tabula API via open source contributions.
Tabula 2020.7.16 released
We released Tabula 2020.7.16 on Friday 24th July 2020. In this version:
- Module marks for previous years are now displayed in students' profiles as soon as they are processed. Previously, they were not displayed until the relevant release day for 2019/20.
Tabula 2020.7.15 released
We released Tabula 2020.7.15 on Thursday 23rd July 2020. In this version:
- When a Departmental Administrator schedules a meeting between a staff member and a tutee, supervisee, etc., the meeting now shows as created by the staff member. Where more than one staff member has the same relationship type with the student, the first staff member is used. This person, rather than the Departmental Administrator, will then be prompted to confirm the meeting took place.
- We fixed a bug that ended some tutor/supervisor relationships immediately on the course end date. These restored relationships will now end 3 months after the course end date. Until then, staff members can see their students on their 'My personal tutees' page, for example.
Tabula 2020.7.14 released
We released Tabula 2020.7.14 on Tuesday 21st July 2020. In this version:
- Staff members with the necessary permissions can now see the graduation benchmark figure for a student on the Modules page of the student's profile. This links to the same graduation benchmark breakdown that is available from exam grids. The benchmark figure and link is not displayed to students.
- The progress bar for each module on the main Marks page now takes resits generated by the Exams Office into account. This means it no longer shows that resits need to be generated when this has already been done outside of Tabula.
