Tabula release notes
Tabula 2020.3.3 released
We released Tabula 2020.3.3 on Friday 27th March 2020. In this version, we added a mitigating circumstances form for submissions related to the coronavirus.
When a student makes a mitigating circumstances declaration, they are now asked if the mitigating circumstances relate to the coronavirus. If they select 'No', the normal mitigating circumstances form is displayed. If they select 'Yes', a version of the form for coronavirus related circumstances is displayed. External evidence is not generally required for these submissions. Students can choose from the pre-defined circumstances, or specify their own via the 'Other' box:
We have also updated the general information displayed on the right of the form, to include the latest coronavirus guidance.
Mitigating Circumstances Officers can use the new filters in the All submissions drop-down to display only submissions related to the coronavirus, or to exclude them.
Mitigation grade outcomes are now represented by single letters:
- R - Rejected
- A - Mild
- B - Moderate
- C - Severe
Tabula 2020.3.2 released
We released Tabula 2020.3.2 on Thursday 12th March 2020. In this version:
- We fixed a bug affecting the ‘No markers’ filter (under ‘All assignment statuses’) on the Assignments page. When this filter was selected, assignments with no marking workflow were displayed. The filter now only shows assignments which have a marking workflow and no students allocated to markers.
Tabula 2020.3.1 released
We released Tabula 2020.3.1 on Thursday 5th March 2020. In this version:
-
We fixed a bug affecting the spreadsheet you can download from the ‘Submissions and feedback’ page for an assignment, via the 'Save as' button. For assignments using the double blind marking workflow, we’ve restored the names of all markers to the spreadsheet.
-
When viewing all students in a department, the ‘Tier 4 only’ filter (under 'Other') now only appears if you have permission to see the students' Tier 4 details.
-
An error message is now displayed if you try to record a meeting while masquerading as a staff member. It’s not possible to make changes while masquerading.
Tabula 2020.2.4 released
We released Tabula 2020.2.4 on Thursday 27th February 2020. In this version:
-
On the ‘Modules’ page of a student’s profile, beneath the list of modules, you can now see details of the exams the student is registered for.
- We fixed a bug that was preventing the removal of a file attachment when it was the only one. This applies to, for example, extension requests, meeting records and mitigating circumstances submissions.
-
We added a 'Submit and approve' button for panel chairs in Mitigating Circumstances. This means that panel chairs can now record and approve outcomes in one step.
-
Some of the attendance-related aspects of the Tabula API were improved by Michael Gale in Computer Science, via an open source contribution.
Tabula 2020.2.3 released
We released Tabula 2020.2.3 on Thursday 20th February 2020. In this version:
- We fixed a bug that prevented students requesting a further extension in some cases. If the original extension was recorded without a request from the student in Tabula, the 'Review extension' button was not displayed to them.
- There was an open source contribution that adds the ability to fetch the attendance for a specific small group via the Tabula API.
