Most centrally timetabled rooms are now equipped with either a data projector or screen and a fixed PC. If you need extra equipment we have a number of laptops, portable data projectors and microphones that we can set up temporarily in centrally timetabled and committee rooms.
Should you require equipment to be set up for use elsewhere in the University we do offer a chargeable service.
We can set up data projectors, laptops, screens, and full PA systems as required for staff use, unfortunately we do not offer this service for student led events.
This service is available to all Warwick staff.
You can book and collect equipment with us, or have it delivered, between 8:30am to 5pm Monday to Thursday and between 8:30am and 4pm on a Friday (normal working days only).
If your meeting or lecture is due to finish later than 5pm we can arrange for a technician to collect the equipment from you the next morning, providing you will take full responsibility for the equipment overnight.
Our stock is limited so we advise booking at least 5 days in advance.
Additional Microphone Installation and PA Kit Setup
We require a minimum of 48 hours notice if you require additional microphones for your session. Setup is free within centrally timetabled rooms. There is a service charge for any form of PA installation outside of these rooms.
Please note, additional PA and microphone provision is dependant on the suitability of the space.
The charges (via internal cost code) for setting up additional equipment in non-centrally timetabled rooms or committee rooms are as follows:
- Data Projector Laptop Screen setup: £30
- PA system setup: £75
