The Audio Visual Equipment loan service operates from the IT HelpdeskLink opens in a new window drop in centre on the 1st floor of the library.

Follow signs for the ITS Helpdesk. Any equipment you borrow will need to be collected and returned there between

9:30am and 4:30pm, Monday to Friday (normal working days only).

Any member of staff can borrow our equipment. If you're a student, you'll need a member of staff to book the equipment on your behalf and take full responsibility for it.

If you would like advice or a personal demonstration on using the equipment before the loan date, contact the ITS Helpdesk 

5 days in advance of borrowing the equipment to arrange a session with one of our AV technicians.

Please note that we do not have a stock of Lapel Mics held within the IT Services drop in.

Availability

This is a short term loan service. Due to high demand, we can only let equipment out for a maximum of 5 days on a first-come, first-served basis.

We'd advise you to book as far in advance as possible to avoid disappointment.

Charges

Our loan service is free of charge for all University staff members.
