Sitebuilder 2.271 - 3rd October 2012 - Release notes

Sitebuilder 2.271 was released on 3rd October 2012. Highlights from this release include:

General improvements and bug fixes

  • There have been a number of improvements and bug fixes relating to Sitebuilder forum pages
    • It's now possible to import old forums from WarwickForums - please contact webteam at warwick dot ac dot uk for details
    • Topics can now be pinned
    • HTML notification emails have been improved to work better on smaller screens
    • Users can no longer like their own posts
    • Performance for large forums has been greatly improved
  • A new magic tag to display Key Information Sets from UniStats will now appear on Undergraduate study pages
  • A bug that meant that you couldn't see forward pages in the edit section has been fixed
  • You can now change the Content-Type of uploaded files via the Atom API in the same way as when creating new files using it
  • A bug that occasionally caused it to be impossible to edit properties of data reveal pages has been fixed

  • [SBTWO-5788] - Improve Forums performance for large forums
  • [SBTWO-5795] - Set caret to end of editor on focus
  • [SBTWO-5798] - Store parent-child reply relationship for forum posts, even if it isn't exposed

New Feature

  • [SBTWO-5561] - Enable adding favicon on site-wide basis, make it display across all browsers

  • [SBTWO-5749] - Support migration of Warwick Forums' forums to Sitebuilder forum
  • [SBTWO-5777] - Make UniStats KIS widget live with production code
  • [SBTWO-5800] - See if we can fix the updated dates on ID6 sites that had all pages republished
