Tabula release notes
Tabula 2020.11.2 released
We released Tabula 2020.11.2 on Wednesday 11th November 2020. In this version:
- Syllabus+ events with an end date earlier than the start date are now omitted from departmental calendars. Such events were causing errors and preventing affected calendars from displaying. Omitted events are detailed in a message above the calendar.
- We fixed a bug that prevented some users from dismissing items in their activity stream.
Tabula 2020.11.1 released
We released Tabula 2020.11.1 on Wednesday 4th November 2020. In this version we fixed a number of bugs, including some that affected the Tabula API.
Tabula 2020.10.4 released
We released Tabula 2020.10.4 on Thursday 29th October 2020. In this version:
- When students move from one self-signup small group to another, we now indicate this on the attendance page for any affected events. In the old group, Icon representing a person, with a line through it appears for all events after the date of the move. In the new group, Icon representing a person, with a line through it appears for all events before the date of the move. In both cases, we display explanatory help text when you select the icon. This brings self-signup groups inline with groups that students are allocated to, for which we introduced this icon in Tabula 2019.7.3.
- We completed more preparatory work to enable the processing of marks by cohort. This will provide an alternative to processing marks by module.
- We completed some work to import special arrangements for rest break time during exams. This will be used by the Alternative Exams Portal to ensure the relevant students receive their allotted rest break time.
Tabula 2020.10.3 released
We released Tabula 2020.10.3 on Thursday 22nd October 2020. In this version:
- Mitigating circumstances panels now appear on the timetables of the panel chair, secretary and members, with a link to the details of the panel.
Tabula 2020.10.2 released
We released Tabula 2020.10.2 on Thursday 15th October 2020. In this version:
- We ensured that Tabula does not treat the additional annual leave dates recently granted by the University, Wednesday 23 December 2020 and Monday 4 January 2021, as working days. This means they cannot be set as the open or closing date for assignments and are excluded from feedback deadline calculations.
- Via an open source contribution, Michael Gale (Computer Science) improved the Tabula API method for retrieving assignments.
