Tabula release notes
Tabula 2020.8.4 released
We released Tabula 2020.8.4 on Monday 7th September 2020. In this version:
- We fixed a bug in Marks Management that stopped mark histories from displaying for modules with CATS values that aren't whole numbers.
- We completed some preparatory work to enable Exams Office staff to amend details of resits in Tabula.
Tabula 2020.8.3 released
We released Tabula 2020.8.3 on Thursday 20th August 2020. In this version:
- We added checkboxes to the 'Calculate module marks' page in Marks Management. You can use these to select which students you want to record module marks for.
- When you import small groups from Syllabus+, the event type of the small group set created now matches the type in Syllabus+, where possible. Previously, only the event type 'seminar' was matched, and the type 'workshop' used for all other imported group sets. The event type is listed after the module code on the main Small Groups page, for example 'PSP101 // Labs'.
Tabula 2020.8.2 released
We released Tabula 2020.8.2 on Wednesday 12th August 2020. In this version:
- You can now batch together notifications of the same type to reduce the number of individual emails and My Warwick alerts you receive. When you enable this option, the notifications are grouped together and sent as summary emails or alerts at the time interval you choose.
- PGT students are now able to see the award for their course on the Modules page of their profile.
- On the 'Generate resits' page for a module, any resits added directly to SITS are now also shown.
- Where an assignment has a student on it via more than one linked assessment component, you now see a warning if you try to upload the marks to SITS. This is to avoid a student's mark for a single assignment being uploaded to more than one assessment component.
Tabula 2020.8.1 released
We released Tabula 2020.8.1 on Wednesday 5th August 2020. In this version:
- We improved the way Tabula handles resits and further first sits:
- When the assessment type or weighting has changed, the correct details are now shown on the Modules page of the student's profile.
- Where a further first sit has a weighting of 100%, the 'Calculate module marks' page now uses the mark for this as the module mark. On the page, the further first sit mark is labelled '100%' and the columns for the original assessments display 'N/A'.
- When the mark for a resit is lower than the original mark for a component, the original mark is now used to calculate the module mark.
- When you record a meeting with more than one tutee / supervisee, the pop-up box for this now states the number of students. This number was already stated in the pop-up for scheduling such a meeting.
- We fixed a bug that caused marking workflows from previous academic years to be available when editing an assignment. The drop-down list of workflows you see now only includes those from the current academic year.
Tabula 2020.7.17 released
We released Tabula 2020.7.17 on Thursday 30th July 2020. In this version:
- We fixed a bug affecting module marks when component marks were uploaded to SITS via Coursework Management. When an uploaded component mark matches the one in Marks Management, the module mark is no longer recorded as changed.
- For tables of tutees/supervisees, the 'select all' checkbox and sorting by column now work again.
- Michael Gale (Computer Science) made improvements to the Tabula API via open source contributions.
