Level Up: Rising to the first year challenge
Changes to high school and sixth form curricula mean that the knowledge, skills and expectations first year students bring with them to university is very different from what it was even a decade ago. In this session we will explore our first years’ educational worlds and develop practical recommendations for development of teaching practice. We will be joined by two deputy head teachers from local schools.
Lunch will be provided between 12.00 - 12.30 pm before the session starts.
