Drum Soc

Warwick DrumSoc’s Percussion Ensemble is dedicated to playing orchestral percussion and also some novelty percussion-based music sometimes. The ensemble is suitable for experienced percussion players, with parts for tuned percussion such as xylophone, glockenspiel, and timpani, as well as parts for untuned percussion such as orchestral bass drum, snare, and cymbals.

We often perform at the Warwick Arts Centre and sometimes organise other performances at different venues, as well as social activities besides rehearsals.

We rehearse on Tuesdays in the Ensemble Room of the Warwick Arts Centre from 7:30-10pm, if you have experience of playing orchestral percussion (we use Grade 6 standard as a rough benchmark), we would love to see you there!
