A five week course for total running beginners looking to steadily progress to running 5k.
Listen in to sessions on Facebook led by an instructor whilst you run. Get instructions and advice whilst you run to help up your ability.
Buddy up with a friend from your own household and challenge yourself to run 5K by the end of term.

Sessions will take place virtually by an instructor through Facebook live events.

Don’t worry – we’ll post the event on the Facebook group after each session so you can catch up in your own time.
What you’ll learn
- The correct way to warm up and cool down to reduce injury.
- Correct running form and technique.
- Steadily increase the amount of time you spend running to 30 minutes.
- Encouragement to repeat the weekly session or add additional fitness training to increase your general fitness levels.
