Access, independence and inclusion
Sport is for everyone. And with that in mind we set out to remove as many barriers as possible to make sport, fitness and wellness easier to access for everybody.
Our new Sports & Wellness Hub was designed with accessibility in mind and experts have been consulted at all stages.

We’ve tried to remove barriers wherever we can to make taking part and watching sport as easy as possible.
- Gym equipment can be adapted for users with disabilities.
- A squash court with wide door to give wheelchair access to players.

A choice of easy water access options
With a pool this good, it's only right that everyone gets to enjoy it. We want to make our pool as easily accessible to everyone as possible.
- The Pool Pod lift allows you to enter the water using a bespoke wheelchair or standing on the platform. You can control it yourself to make getting in and out easier and more independent.
- Movable pool floor to provide shallower depths.
- Walk-in pool steps for easy entry.
- Traditional pool hoist.

Changing Places facilities
An exciting addition to our new Sports & Wellness Hub is the inclusion of two Changing Places facilities.
These toilet and changing facilities give users of all ages and their carers space, flexibility and dignity.
You'll find one wet-side and one dry-side, so no matter what your activity, there is a place for you.
