Warwick's Rugby League team have caused an upset by defeating the University of Birmingham (1^st team) 16-14 in a closely fought contest, away from home.

Richard Hatton continued his impressive try scoring form for Warwick, his fifth try in three games. David O’Connor and Jim Roberts provided the team's other tries and they made the difference, with Warwick having to put in a herculean defensive effort in the dying minutes in order to prevent Birmingham snatching the win at the death. Warwick held out though, to pick up their second win in a row.
