Warwick announces partnership with Wasps Netball

Warwick are excited to announce a partnership with the Wasps family, having our new sports centre set to be the official training ground of the Superleague Netball team, one of three new to the competition this year.

They have appointed Tamsin Greenway as their Director of Netball, who is currently the Director of Netball for Surrey Storm. This promises to be a really exciting relationship that we will have with them which will put student experience at the heart of what we do.

Lisa Dodd-Mayne, our Director of Sport & Active Communities said – “We are delighted to be working in partnership with Wasps, who have helped secure a super league netball team to the city. Sport is hugely important to the University and we are committed to working with Wasps to bring some talented athletes to the city, providing benefits to both our internal university community as well as being a key player in the wider sporting landscape of the city. This provides an opportunity for young people to have a dual career as athlete and student, and we look forward to providing development pathways with education programmes with Wasps and Tamsin."

We look forward to having Tamsin and the Wasps Family join us in becoming the most active campus community in the UK by 2020.
