Bone Density Screening at Warwick University

The company Bone Matters will be visiting the University on Monday 18 February offering bone density screening. The test offered is a heel quantitative ultrasound scan, which is not diagnostic but provides an indicator of bone density and fracture risk.

  • Monday 18th February in the Lecture Room above the Westwood Games Hall
  • Bone Matters can offer this test for £30
  • Payments can be made at the end of the appointment by either cash or cheque

After the test is completed, your results will be printed off and explained to you. There will also be time for you to ask questions, if you have any! Along with your results and explanation, you will receive an information pack with evidence-based nutrition, exercise and lifestyle advice to enable you to safeguard yourself against the condition, greatly enhancing your chances of having strong and healthy bones for life. The appointment will take approximately 15 minutes and results and advice are given immediately.
