Head Badminton Coach Nic Strange has been selected by Wales to compete nationally in the sport following a successful trial on Saturday 20 July. This is a huge achievement for both Nic and the University of Warwick. He will be aiming to compete with partner Scott Oates, Cardiff, during the upcoming season in September. Badminton Wales’ main goal will be to send a team to play in the Birmingham 2022 Commonwealth Games which Nic would aim to be selected for. Nic has previously competed nationally for Wales and was a member of the 2014 Welsh Team for the Commonwealth Games. The University would like to congratulate him on his successful selection and are very excited to follow and support his journey.
