18 archers from University of Warwick Archery Club (UWAC) qualified to compete in the BUCS Indoor Archery Championships on the 11 March at Bristol University.

Remarkably, UWAC were in medal position in all 3 team events with the Men's team taking the trophy. In the individual events, Sherman Ip won bronze in a medal match which concluded in a single arrow shoot off.

Performance by the archers from UWAC was brilliant. Most notable Tom Hall broke the Portsmouth round BUCS record with a score of 597/600 at the Northern regionals, 3 points off perfect. He was also seeded first with a score of 579/600 in the WA 18 round.

Congratulations to all the winners at the event: the Men's Team (Tom Hall, Sherman Ip, Enrik Nako) who came 1^st, the Women’s Team (Emma Davis, Charlotte Rossetti, Hannah Burnage) who came 2^nd, the Open Compound Team (James Edmondson, Tim Jackson) who also came 2^nd, and Sherman Ip who came 3^rd in the Men’s Recurve.

All of the archers have worked hard, in particular those in the performance squad taking part in S&C every Wednesday morning.

A special mention also goes out to the Open Novice Team of Aaron Lee, Tianshun Li and Mortiz Krusche who medalled, coming 3^rd, in the Northern regionals.

UWAC will be featuring their A Team of Sherman Ip, Enrik Nako and Sam Armstrong, and B Team of Hannah Burnage, James Gardner and James Jeffs, at the at the British University Team Championships (BUTC) which will be held at Birmingham University on the 25 March.
