Professor Lorenzo Frigerio
Biography
Lorenzo has been the Vice-Provost and Chair of the Board for the Faculty of Science, Engineering and Medicine for almost two years and was previously Head of the School of Life Sciences (SLS).
Lorenzo is a Principal Fellow of the Higher Education Academy and won a Warwick Award for Teaching Excellence in 2016, when he was Director of Education in SLS. He is an active researcher, with internationally recognised expertise in plant cell biology.
In his role as Pro-Vice-Chancellor, Lorenzo will provide academic leadership across the University, with a responsibility for maintaining and enhancing world-class standards of teaching and learning across the University.
