Recreation and creativity

Finding ways to enjoy our leisure time is particularly important at present, and for many of us that means enjoying creative and cultural activities. There are lots of resources, activities and groups that you can participate with online - this page aims to capture just some of them.

University of Warwick Art Collection

You can see over 1000 university-owned artworks by some of the most exciting artists of the last 50 years, including Jack Bush, Patrick Heron, Terry Frost, Bridget Riley, Richard Deacon, Catherine Yass, Glenn Ligon, and many others. You can even try your hand at recreating some of your favourites at home!

Visit the University of Warwick Art Collection to learn more.

Knot just Knitting group

The University Chaplaincy hosts a 'Knot just Knitting' Group, which has adapted to coronavirus by moving to a weekly virtual meeting. Contact the Chaplaincy to find out how you can join in.

Follow Warwick Arts Centre online

Despite the building being closed, Warwick Arts Centre has a brilliantly curated and creative social media presence. Follow the Arts Centre on Twitter, Instagram and Facebook to get ideas, inspiration and activities that you can join in with at home.
