'Tis the season to be jolly, and we can't wait to kick off the festive season by turning on the Christmas Lights with you. Come along to the Piazza to join us indulging in festive treats, singing along to Christmas music and cracking on with your Christmas shopping.

We'll provide the twinkle, all you need to do is bring the cheer!

Christmas Lights Switch On

5pm, Piazza

It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas… Join us as we light up the Piazza!

We'll welcome BBC Radio 2 presenter Richie Anderson to lead us into that all important switch-on countdown happening around 5pm.

Don’t miss this magical moment – wrap up warm, and we can’t wait to see you there!

Christmas Market

10am - 6pm, Piazza

Maybe you've already wrapped all of your presents this year, or maybe you haven't started shopping yet (guilty!). Come and check out the Christmas Market for handcrafted and original gifts from independent stand holders even if it's a Christmas gift to yourself. You can also treat yourself to mulled wine and indulge in a range of festive foodie treats!

Musical Performances

3:30pm - 5:30pm, Piazza

We'll be rocking around the Christmas tree in no time with live performances from Warwick’s very own Small Band, Warwick Gospel, Brass Band and Chamber Choir!

Remember the best way to spread festive cheer is singing loud for all to hear - and you can sing along to their festive tunes with lyrics available on this page.

Christmas Crafts Workshop

1pm - 3.30pm, SU Atrium

Get creative and feel festive with a bonanza of arts and crafts. Whatever your taste or style, you'll be able to express yourself and have fun by making cards, decorations, ornaments or accessories. You'll find card, textiles, polymer clay, gemstones, beads, modelling wire and much more in this seasonal session.

Labyrinth Light Trail

4.30pm - 6pm, Senate House (outdoor)

Join the Chaplaincy to walk the candlelit Labyrinth for a time of peaceful reflection as we embrace light in the midst of darkness and enjoy hot chocolate and festive refreshments. The Labyrinth can be found behind Senate House.

Wrap up warm, as this is an outside event.
