Nutcracker Christmas Shop, Stratford-Upon-Avon

Walking Tour

The walking tour (all outdoors) starts from the Nutcracker Christmas Shop (pictured above) and will pass Shakespeare's Birthplace, New Place, Hall's Croft, Harvard House, a range of architectural gems, Shakespeare's Schoolroom and Guildhall, the Guild Chapel, Royal Shakespeare Theatre and Holy Trinity Church. The guide will tell fascinating stories of Stratford's history, and Shakespeare's life through fire, flood and plague with a smattering of old-fashioned sayings and medieval medical cures

The River Avon bends through Stratford Town Centre, swans flock next to a barge, set against a backdrop of weeping willow trees and a ferris wheel.

With some free time to explore, we'd recommend checking out this page of exclusive discounts, available as part of the Stratford Town Walk tour.

You can get discounted entry to the MAD museum, Shakespeare's Birthplace, Schoolroom & Guildhall, as well as discounted food and drinks offers including Barnaby's Fish & Chips, Fourteas Tearoom and more!
