The Training service provided by IT services is available to all students at the University. We aim to provide support and advice to facilitate students to work more effectively with the applications delivered by IT Services.
Services we offer
Free Training Webinars – We offer free training webinars for Microsoft applications and some specialist and academic software such as SPSS, Python, NVivo and many more. Training sessions are usually delivered as webinars via Microsoft Teams.
If you are interested in our Training Webinars they can be booked via our booking system. Link opens in a new windowThere is no limit on the number of webinars you can attend and you are welcome to attend the same webinars as often as you wish.
Free Qualifications - We hope to resume offering free Microsoft Office Specialist (MOS) qualifications in the near future, check our training pageLink opens in a new window for any news on this.

IT Training in Welcome Week and beyond
IT Training will support your online IT induction. In your first week, your academic department will arrange an online IT induction, during which we will run through how to access all the key services you will need, such as your University email account, software available to download, your networked drives and much more.
