Do you want to add a language to your degree?
At the Language Centre, you can study a new language or continue a language you've already studied.
You can take a language as part of your degree or as an extra course to study independently.
Academic Language modules
Most degrees allow you to take a language module for credit as part of your degree.
Modules on the academic programme can also be taken in addition to an undergraduate degree course.
Languages offered: Arabic, Chinese, French, German, Hindi, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Portuguese, Russian and Spanish.

Lifelong Language Learning (LLL) Courses
Courses within this programme are available to anyone wishing to learn a language not for credit (not as part of your degree) and at a more relaxed pace. We offer a range of language courses, mostly timetabled in the evenings.
Languages offered: Arabic, Chinese, French, German, Italian, Korean and Spanish.
