I joined the team in July 2019 as a Compliance Officer and have loved seeing our growth and supporting apprentices and employers thrive.
In 2022, I became Programmes Manager, overseeing post-experience apprenticeship programmes, including the BA (Hons) Social Work Degree Apprenticeship, PG Cert Higher Apprenticeship Career Development Professional, and Managing in Technology Based Industries (Senior Leader).

Programme Manager
As PM, I support the university to grow and deliver our DA provision. I work with academic and professional services colleagues, and our employer partners, focusing on Quality Assurance and compliance for my portfolio of Level 6 & 7 programmes.
I joined Warwick in 2015 and have worked in UG Admissions and the Student Discipline and Resolution Team. I've previously worked within FE, the charity and private sectors.

I’ve worked in Higher Education for over 12 years and joined the team in January 2020 to help grow our apprenticeship provision and support widening participation.
As Programmes Manager, I work closely with both academic and professional services colleagues to deliver Level 6 and 7 programmes. I particularly enjoy the quality assurance focus of the role and building relationships with our employer partners to help apprentices thrive and reach their career goals.

Programme Manager
I am Programmes Manager for a range of level 6 & 7 Apprenticeships across the institution, managing the institutions strategic approach to apprenticeship compliance, quality and impact. I'm committed to personal and professional development, my MSc dissertation specialised in 'employer co-creation of work-based learning opportunities in research -intensive HEI's'. I've also recently completed the Advance HE, Aurora Leadership programme.
Adam Trout
Compliance Officer
I work as a Compliance Officer in the Work Based & Professional Learning Team, focusing on the range of Degree Apprenticeship programmes that we offer. The role, which I commenced in April 2025, includes supporting Programme Managers and other stakeholders in ensuring that our programmes operate in accordance with the various rules and regulations that underpin the delivery of Degree Apprenticeships at the university.
I have worked in the Higher Education sector since 2015 and have also previously worked as part of Project and Programme Management teams across both the public and private sectors.
Clare Gibbons
Compliance Officer
I am a Compliance Officer in the Work Based & Professional Learning Team, ensuring Degree Apprenticeship programmes meet statutory requirements. I joined WMG in 2020 and WB&PL in 2021, supporting Programme Managers and stakeholders with compliant data and processes.
I have worked in Apprenticeships since 2007, as an assessor, tutor, and administrator, and have held Safeguarding and Prevent responsibilities. I have also delivered specialist training in the Financial Sector. My work focuses on combining compliance, education, and practical guidance to support staff and learners.
Justine Tucker
Operations Co-ordinator
I have been in the Flexible & Online Learning Division (FOLD) since November 2021 and I manage the operations across the Work based & Professional Learning and Digital Learning in FOLD, leading operational and administrative procedures to ensure consistent practices within the Education Group.
I really enjoy being part of the team, and always happy to help and support with any queries within or outside the team. I'm interested in learning new skills and keeping up to date with new technology.
Becky Murphy
Administrative Officer
I am the Administrative Officer in the Degree Apprenticeship Team. I started in June 2023 and my role involves a wide range of administrative tasks. Such as supporting the day-to-day running of our apprenticeship programmes, making sure everything stays organised and on schedule.
I really enjoy being part of this team, we support learners throughout their apprenticeship journey, and I’m always happy to help with any queries or issues that come up along the way.

I joined the team in October 2024 as an Administrator and have really enjoyed being part of the team. In my role, I support both staff and apprentices by answering questions, providing information, and making sure everything runs smoothly behind the scenes. I also get involved with some marketing, helping to share our work and keep the community engaged.

Employer Engagement Officer
I’m an Employer Engagement Officer in the Work-Based and Professional Learning team at the University of Warwick. I work with employers and learners to build partnerships that support apprenticeships and professional development.
My experience spans compliance, marketing, and learner support, giving me a broad understanding of the apprenticeship landscape. I’m passionate about developing strong employer relationships and ensuring our programmes meet business needs and regulatory standards.

Employer Engagement Officer
As an EO within the Work-Based and Professional Learning team, I focus on building and maintaining strong relationships with employers to support the growth and success of our apprenticeship programmes.
My role involves guiding employers through the apprenticeship journey from initial engagement to ongoing support as well as long-term collaboration, ensuring their needs are met while upholding programme quality. I also work closely with colleagues across departments to help align academic and industry expectations. With a passion for collaboration and learner success, I enjoy creating opportunities that benefit both apprentices and the organisations they work for.
