IFP News and Updates
March
We've had some exciting new members of staff join the Warwick IFP team this month, including a brand new role. Our Education and Liaison Officer, Orla, is available to support Warwick IFP students through the UCAS process, as well as providing them with advice for interviews and potential career pathways.
February
This month saw the Lunar New Year and there were lots of events taking place across the campus. Our newest student blogger Pei, has written a great post about her celebrations on campus, as well as reflecting on the traditions of Lunar New Year. You can read Pei's post here.
January
January is an important month for IFP students - it is the start of term two and it's also the month for the UCAS deadline for applications to undergraduate courses in the UK. Our students have been really busy perfecting their personal statements and choosing the courses they would like to study for their Bachelor's degree. We wish them all luck in the process!
December
So it is the end of the first term for our current students and it is now time for the Christmas vacation. To celebrate their first term on the IFP, we had a Christmas party on campus, with Christmas music, a "Christmas Jumper" competition, and lots of traditional Christmas treats. It also snowed this month and our students had some great fun in the snow!
November
This month saw some more of our academic trips, with our Law and Social Science students visiting the Houses of Parliament and Supreme Court, and our Science and Engineering students visited Emirates Aviation experience.
October
This month saw the first of our academic trips. Students studying on the History module visited Hanbury Hall, an English country house built at the beginning of the 18th century. They were able to explore the fantastic gardens, marvel at Thornhill's frescoes, and try some 18th and 19th century apples grown in the orchard!
September
We loved meeting all of our new students this week as part of enrolment! We had a campus treasure hunt, welcome party and finished off a great week with a trip to Warwick Castle before lessons started.
