Green for All: Mapping Nature and Inclusion Across Coventry

The University of Warwick is partnering with Coventry City Council and organisations across the city as part of the Green for All Link opens in a new windowproject, a £1 million initiative funded by The National Lottery Heritage Fund. The 2.5-year project aims to improve understanding of Coventry's Green and Blue Infrastructure (GBI), particularly in communities with limited access to green spaces.

By bringing together local communities, researchers and policymakers, Green for All seeks to create a more equitable and inclusive approach to urban green space management. The project will generate new evidence about how residents experience Coventry's natural environment and provide practical recommendations for improving access, participation and governance.

The project's innovative mapping approach will help ensure that future decisions about green and blue infrastructure are informed not only by environmental data, but also by the lived experiences of Coventry's residents. Through this work, Green for All aims to contribute to a healthier, more resilient and more sustainable city for everyone.
