The Sustainability Committee was formed, on behalf of the University Executive Board and the University Estate and Environment Committee, for coordinating the University’s approach to Environmental and Social Sustainability. The Sustainability Committee works with and advises other relevant committees and groups in the context of their remit that impacts Environmental and Social Sustainability.
With student representatives on the Sustainability Committee and all action groups (except EAG), we ensure students have a meaningful voice in shaping sustainability initiatives as collaborative opportunities for positive change

The Energy Action Group leads the University’s efforts to reduce energy consumption and carbon emissions. It aims to promote understanding of circular economy and create an environment for collective transformation by engaging with a wide range of stakeholders to devise and enable projects that deliver measurable change on campus and within the region, based on the application of circular economy principles.
The Ecology and Landscape Action Group (ELAG) has been established to continue to drive the development of landscape design, whilst supporting the University's sustainability goals by providing strategic oversight of Warwick’s commitment to biodiversity and healthy ecosystems.
