Walk on the Wild Side Competition
Between the 6th to the 24th of January, we will have a 'Walk on the Wild Side' competition running, as part of the Wild Warwick exhibition. When the competition closes, the winners will be selected at random, and there will be 2 x £15 vouchers available!
What does the competition involve?
- Follow a trail of five outdoor and wild locations on campus - a great activity for a lunch time break!
- Take a photo at each of the five locations, showing what you can see - this could range from a particular animal or plant that you see in this area, or a more general picture of the green space. It doesn't need to be at the exact pinpoint location, just a photo within that area.

The trail:
You can find the link to the trail hereLink opens in a new window - this includes a what.3.wordsLink opens in a new window for each location. You can complete the trail in any order, and don't need to complete it all in one go, you just need to gather all photos before the deadline.
The trail is roughly 2.5km long, and should take around 30-45 minutes to walk.
Things to note:
- Please wear sensible clothing and footwear when exploring this trail - the trail sticks to paths, however if you want to explore a bit further then this may be muddy!
- Be careful when crossing any roads.
- Stay away from any deep water - there are some water bodies on the trail, so make sure to keep far from the edge.
- Please make sure to do this trail in the daylight.
- Aim to do the trails in pairs (as a minimum) - so that you have someone to chat too along the way. You could even do the trail as a team/class activity!
