Happy Earth Day 2021
If there was ever a time to reassess your relationship with the planet, it’s today. Why? Today marks the 51st annual Earth Day, and with an incredible range of virtual events, it’s easier to get involved than ever before.
City Nature Challenge
Coventry will be taking part in the worldwide City Nature Challenge for the first time this year and we are encouraging people to get involved on campus and in the local area. Between 30th April and 3rd May naturalists, bird watchers, conservation groups and keen wildlife spotters from over 400 cities worldwide will be out and about recording the nature in their local areas so why don’t you join them? Whether you’re an expert or novice it couldn’t be easier to take part.
Opening our new Interdisciplinary Biomedical Research Building
The IBRB is now complete, bringing to life the University’s commitment to delivering world-leading research in neuroscience, microbiology and infection, cell biology, and disease models. Learn more about this impressive new building and hear from some of the people who'll be using it
Nurturing Nature University of Warwick & Warwickshire Wildlife Trust
Join staff from the University of Warwick and the Warwickshire Wildlife Trust to find out about projects in the local area. You will hear first about the University’s long term commitment to biodiversity as well as current and future projects on the main and Wellesbourne campuses. Ian Jelley, Director of Living Landscapes at WWT, will then talk about the River Sherbourne scheme, their new 30by30 Vision and other projects.
