Warwick at Night - Bat Walk

Would you like to know more about bats and find out which species can be found on campus? Then join us and the Warwickshire Bat Group on Thursday 12th June between 20:00 and 22:30 (please note finish time is approximate).
We continue the Warwick at Night event series to celebrate the University's 60th anniversary and the amazing wildlife we have on campus. This time we will explore another aspect of the night sky - bats!
The evening will start with an introductory talk on British bats and the work of the Warwickshire Bat Group after which, equipped with bat detectors and our newly acquired knowledge, we will head out on a night-time walk to look for bats.
This event is free of charge and is open to students, staff and the general public. Places are limited so sign-up is essential.
Please ensure you read the relevant sections of the Risk AssessmentLink opens in a new window prior to attending the event.

Please note: If the event needs to be cancelled due to inclement weather, we will notify all registered participants by email.
It is an outdoor activity that involves walking after sunset. Please wear suitable clothing and footwear, and bring a torch. Some bat detectors will be provided by the organisers but feel free to bring your own if you have one.
This activity contributes to the student Warwick Award!
