Biodiversity Walk
You probably heard and seen a variety of different birds on campus. Would you like to find out what species they are and learn more about them? Or just simply want to find a new relaxing spot on campus where you can enjoy nature in your lunch break? Then join us on this Biodiversity Walk on Monday 7th July between 12-1 pm.
The activity will entail walking on a path, identifying and recording all bird species we see and hear. Recommended apps to have for this walk are iNaturalist, Merlin Bird ID and BirdNET - we are happy to explain the use of any of these apps during the walk. Please also bring binoculars if you have them.
Please wear suitable shoes as it may be muddy, and dress according to the weather. Open to all staff and students.
Meeting point is TBC. Sign-up required.
Please ensure you read pages 1-7 of the Risk AssessmentLink opens in a new window prior to attending the event.
We are pleased to confirm that students can earn a point towards the Warwick AwardLink opens in a new window by attending two of our biodiversity-related activities.
