Our University has signed the Nature Positive Pledge

Nature Positive Pledge a commitment to start a journey to halt and reverse nature loss, and to actively restore biodiversity and ecosystems affected by our activities.


No Mow May 2025

For the sixth year running the University will be taking part in Plantlife’s No Mow May Movement and leaving areas of grass to grow. These areas will be allowed to grow throughout May, with some areas being left throughout the summer months and only being cut at the end of the season.

Celebrating mammals on campus

Between 21st and 27th April we welcome the annual return of National Mammal Week. This week not only celebrates mammals but also raises awareness of their plight. Even though some of the UK’s most celebrated and beloved animals are mammals, a staggering quarter of British mammal species are threatened by extinction.

University of Warwick Publishes Latest Energy and Carbon Report

The University has released the latest Energy and Carbon Report, providing a detailed overview of progress made in reducing carbon emissions across campus.

New Food Waste Recycling Bins – Let's Ace Food Waste together!

A new food waste recycling initiative will launch across on-campus residences on the 31st March. The Let’s Ace Food WasteLink opens in a new window campaign aims to help students use all of the food that they buy, while encouraging them to properly separate and correctly dispose of any unavoidable food waste, like eggshells and teabags.
