Staff and students can apply to WIE for funds to deliver public engagement events or activities.

Public Engagement Personal Development Fund

Staff and students can apply to WIE for funds to put towards conference fees, course fees, or travel and subsistence related to developing their public engagement skills.

Public and Community Engagement Module Development Fund

Would you like to include public or community engagement in your teaching? Apply for up to £5,000 from Warwick Institute of Engagement to help you develop and implement your ideas. We’re looking for projects which will either add new elements to an existing module or create a new module.

Collaboration and Co-Production Fund

Warwick Institute of Engagement provides a seed fund of up to £3,000 to develop new community partnerships and strengthen existing ones. There are two calls a year and we offer advice and support to help applicants build their application in collaboration with their partner.

Support for Research Grant Applications

If you're putting in a grant application which has a public engagement component, please come and talk to us early on in the process. We can support by, for example, helping to plan an event as part of the Resonate Festival, offering support with finding different groups to work with, or discussing how training and evaluation would help your application. We can also review applications and offer feedback from a panel of WIE Fellows.

If you're looking for public engagement funding there are often targeted pots available either externally or from other departments. The National Coordinating Centre for Public Engagement maintains a list of these external opportunities, and the team will also post relevant calls we come across here and via email to the WIE Network.
