Developing training on behalf of the Warwick Institute of Engagement
Where learning circles, fellows, the institute team or other individuals want to produce new training events or resources to be hosted by the Warwick Institute of Engagement (WIE) the following process should be followed. Please allow at least 6 weeks for review before you intend to run any live training sessions to ensure you will get feedback in time to allow you to make the necessary changes before your session.
- Get in touch with WIE to discuss your idea
- We’ll agree with you the best format for the training or resource you want to make, where it sits within the wider context of WIE training provision, and how we can support you to develop it
- We'll ask you to fill in the below self evaluation form with details of the planned training and how you’re going to ensure our key criteria are addressed
N.b. For resources being hosted permanently this will also involve submitting a draft version of the resource, for live sessions we’d expect to see an outline of what will be covered and how
- Submit the completed form to WIE who will pass it on to the relevant learning circle (staff/ student training) for review
- Two members of the relevant learning circle will review your submission and provide relevant feedback for approval/ improvement where needed within four weeks
- WIE will get back in touch with you to share the feedback and to support you in developing the resource, promoting your session etc.
N.b. in some circumstances we may be able to create the web page to manage bookings and start promoting your training session whilst we wait for the learning circle to review your session plans.
