An independent report from innovation and investment consultancy firm, Beauhurst, reveals how the University of Warwick is helping to drive the West Midlands’ position as a powerhouse for innovation, which is in turn supporting growth in the local economy.

UK Research and Innovation (UKRI) has published its new Knowledge Exchange Framework (KEF) data, which rates the impact UK universities have on their communities, regional and local business, and society more broadly.

Arden Cross Ltd has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with both University Hospitals Birmingham (UHB) and the University of Warwick to explore opportunities for creating a new Medical & Technology Campus to deliver world-beating innovation in healthcare as part of the £3.2 billion Arden Cross development.

The University of Warwick has further cemented its position as one of the UK’s best universities - after being ranked 9th overall by The Times and Sunday Times Good University Guide 2023. It continues a remarkable record for Warwick, which has featured in the Top 10 every single year since the Guide was first published in 1992.

Part of the University of Warwick’s Creative Futures initiative, the success of the esports programme is being recognised at the international Esports Awards. Warwick have received two nominations, one for Esports Collegiate Programme of the Year, the second for Esports Collegiate Ambassador of the Year.
