New Faculty of Arts Building will enable collaboration, creativity and innovation to flourish

The new Faculty of Arts building will open its doors on 6th December to students, staff and the public and will put collaboration and engagement at the heart of a new campus 'cultural quarter'. The new building provides an interdisciplinary learning and research space and will also host events and exhibitions open to all. Learn more about this new, exciting development!

A new role has been created in WMG, University of Warwick, entitled 'The Lord Bhattacharyya Chair in Education', to continue the late Lord Bhattacharyya's legacy enhancing WMG’s academic expertise in the understanding, development and teaching of engineering and manufacturing internationally.

A46 Stoneleigh Junction - Closure of A46 north bound exit slip road 18 November (20:00 to 06:00)

Please be advised the A46 north bound exit slip road will be closed overnight on the 18 November 2021 between 20:00 and 06:00 to allow works to be carried out in the area in preparation for the arrival of bridge beams later this month.

A46 Stoneleigh Junction - bridge beam delivery - CLOSURE OF A46 - Saturday 27 & Sunday 28 November 2021

On the morning of Saturday 27 November at 00:01, both north and south bound carriageways on the A46 are to be closed between Thickthorn island at Kenilworth and Stivichall interchange at Coventry. This closure will remain in place until the evening of Sunday 28 November.

Coventry schools to build future cities from recycled household items

TeenTech City of Tomorrow will see Coventry school children make a city of recyclable household items, with help from researchers at WMG, University of Warwick who will teach them all about sustainability. A select few ideas – buildings and technology- will then be exhibited at the Coventry Transport Museum.

Chromebooks for Afghan refugee families

Do you have any old, unused, personal laptops that you no longer use? Older laptops can be converted into Chromebooks and the aim of this project is to provide as many converted Chromebooks as possible to Afghan refugee families living in the local area.
