Everyone at the Warwick Volunteers team would like to say a big thank you to all our volunteers for your hard work this year.

We hope your summer vacation will give you a chance to relax and reflect on the past year’s successes. We will be sending occasional emails over the summer to keep in touch and we look forward to seeing you in October.

We wish everyone leaving Warwick the very best of luck in your future. Don’t forget, even after you graduate Warwick can still support you. You will have free access to the careers services for 3 years after graduation. For further information please see the Student Careers and Skills website

Volunteering Fair – Thursday 27th September 2018

Save the date: The Volunteering Fair will take place on Thursday 27th September in the Rootes Restaurant between 10.30am-3.30 pm.
The Fair is a great opportunity to find out more about the projects on offer and talk to student Project Leaders and representatives from local charities, more details to follow.

If you are thinking about joining a school or youth volunteering project next year, please remember that it’s much easier and quicker to get the documentation you need for a DBS check (and Certificate of Good Conduct if applicable) over the summer vacation when you go home, so you have it ready to bring with you at the start of next term.

Summer Volunteering Opportunities

If you are staying around campus this Summer, there are many volunteering opportunities you can get involved in, from one-off activities to more regular projects. Keep an eye out on our website for more information or alternatively keep up to date by following us on Facebook or Twitter.

External Opportunities

Warwick Volunteers cannot be held responsible for external volunteering opportunities advertised, but we do make every effort to ensure that all the information we publish is accurate. We advise volunteers to use their own judgement when selecting potential opportunities, and to check all details concerning prospective volunteering activity with the organisation involved. Please make sure that you have received all necessary training and information regarding your own health and safety before commencing volunteering. Volunteers need to make their own way to external opportunities and check arrangements for travelling with the organisations directly. Warwick Volunteers do not pay travel expenses nor arrange transport for external opportunities.
