DeStresstival
The Active Wellbeing Team will be hosting a cross-campus festival focused on mindfulness, relaxation and de-stressing, during the summer exam period. We recognise how taxing exams can be on your wellbeing, so we want to give students an opportunity to unwind and decompress. Whether it's completing a Nature Walk, participating in a Pop-Up activity or doing some self-care meditation, take your mind off exams and do some de-stressing!
Bring your friends, make new ones, and embrace mindfulness and relaxation!

Retreat in Daily Life (Christian)
A Christian retreat, giving you the chance to deepen your prayer life and spend some quality time with God, in the midst of everyday life.
A Retreat in Daily Life is an opportunity to spend a week with time to learn about and be guided in Christian prayer alongside your normal everyday life.
It involves a daily time of personal prayer (aiming at 30 minutes) and a daily half-hour individual meeting with a friendly as well as experienced prayer guide. Alongside this are workshops to help us explore prayer more generally.

Festival of Postgraduate Research 2024
Join the Doctoral College on Thursday 23rd May 2024 for the Festival of Postgraduate Research either in person at The Slate or online. The day will include interactive talks on topics such as 'Overcoming challenges during your PhD' and 'Finding joy in your research'. It will also include PGRs showcasing their own research either in 3-minute talks or in a range of traditional and non-traditional formats.

Warwick Talk and Tour
A Warwick Talk and Tour lasts around two hours and consists of an overview presentation from one of our Recruitment Officers covering the key features, facilities and activities that make Warwick a leading institution. The talk is followed by a campus tour, which is the perfect way to view campus, with a current student guiding you around the key areas on campus, including the Library, Students' Union and Warwick Arts Centre. This is also an excellent opportunity to speak to current students and gain insight into student life at Warwick. The activities on the day may be reversed if the event attracts large numbers of visitors.
This event is open to prospective undergraduate and postgraduate students.

PG Tips is our weekly postgraduate event which is hosted in the PG Hub in the Junction. It is an opportunity to ask questions outside of your department and supervisor on all aspects of postgraduate life. There are weekly themes which are centred around the lifecycle of being a postgraduate.

Warwick IFP - Economics - Academic Taster Session
Prospective students can experience what it is like being a student on the Warwick International Foundation Programme through one of our Academic taster sessions. The live webinars will be delivered by tutors who teach on the programme, and there will also be an opportunity to ask questions about Warwick, the IFP courses and modules in general.
Hear from Dr. Simon Grill on the topic: Globalisation: what does the journey of a t-shirt through the global economy teach us about globalisation? The taster session with provide an introductory talk that will touch on the topics of globalisation, specialisation, supply chains and international trade. Dr Grill will also provide more information about the course and you will have the opportunity to ask any questions you may have. It is relevant for those interested in the IFP Business Management or Finance course.
