EndNote workshops

Want to know more about managing your references, saving time and avoiding plagiarism?

The workshop will introduce you to the desktop version of EndNote and will demonstrate how to import or add references to your library, how to create groups, how to attach full text articles. It will also show you how to use EndNote in Microsoft Word to generate citations and bibliographies.

See the list of sessions and links to sign up, below. Sessions are run online or hybrid, and demonstrate EndNote using a Windows device. The differences between the Windows and Mac versions of EndNote are minimal, and are detailed in the 'Tips for Mac users' video linked here.

Please have the EndNote Desktop application downloaded onto your computer before the session. Find a link here to download EndNote. Once you have signed up via the links below, you will automatically receive an invitation to the session.

New for 2026: Zotero workshops!

We now run training sessions for both EndNote and Zotero. Choose one, or come to both of our sessions to try them and see which one you prefer. Choose Zotero if you want an easy-to-use tool which you can maintain access to when you leave Warwick, or want something that is particularly effective at importing references from the web and collaborating with others. Choose EndNote if you need advanced features for managing references for a large or complex project, want the assurance of publisher technical support if needed, or if your department or research group uses it.

Please have the Zotero application downloaded onto your computer before the session. Download Zotero here.

Please find guidance on using Zotero here. Note that the Library’s own online guide to Zotero is coming soon!
