History of Art BA

On our single honours History of Art degree you will study a rich and varied range of art history, from the middle ages to the present day, supported by a range of site visits.

History of Art with Italian BA

On our joint honours degree you will study art history, from the middle ages to the present day, with a particular focus on Italian art and culture alongside integrated Italian language classes.

Warwick Venice term

We're the only art history department in the UK to offer students this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to live and study abroad for 10 weeks in Venice.

This unique initiative gives our students the opportunity to study the city's art, architecture, history and culture first hand, from the middle ages to the present day.

You can choose your own route through the degree, supported by core modules that establish the essential framework of the course. There is an increasing amount of choice from the first year onwards, and you choose the subject of your dissertation, under expert guidance.
