How do I use this calendar?

You can click on an event to display further information about it.

The toolbar above the calendar has buttons to view different events. Use the left and right arrow icons to view events in the past and future. The button inbetween returns you to today's view. The button to the right of this shows a mini-calendar to let you quickly jump to any date.

The dropdown box on the right allows you to see a different view of the calendar, such as an agenda or a termly view.

If this calendar has tags, you can use the labelled checkboxes at the top of the page to select just the tags you wish to view, and then click "Show selected". The calendar will be redisplayed with just the events related to these tags, making it easier to find what you're looking for.

Vaccination programmes, present and past

On May 4 2021 at 4pm, we will be hosting a webinar on Vaccination Programmes, Present and Past. Dr Stephanie Snow, University of Manchester, and Dr Gareth Millward, University of Warwick will be joining us to share their expertise. Dr Snow is the Director of the NHS Voices of Covid-19 project, funded by the Arts and Humanities Research Council. The project is creating an oral history collection and we’ll be hearing about testimony regarding the vaccination programme. Dr Millward is the author of Vaccinating Britain: Mass vaccination and the public since the Second World War. Dr Rosemary Cresswell, University of Warwick, will be chairing, and she will also be thinking about the role of volunteers in vaccination campaigns. The team will also be discussing the types of questions which our People’s History of the NHS members have submitted to our webpage about vaccination programmes since the 1940s.
